Augustine Miles Kelechi, otherwise known as Tekno, has partnered with Bitcasino. The Nigerian Afropop singer signed a deal with the company officially making him their global ambassador.
Bitcasino is a cryptocurrency-powered online casino initiative soon launching across West Africa. The operation focuses on Bitcoin, though is yet to find an African audience. The 29-year-old will be helping in that department, with his next two years focused on marketing the brand. Amongst other things, he will be delivering what is referred to as a true VIP experience.
Tekno isn’t the only thing that Bitcasino has up its sleeve. The company is also offering players the chance to watch Premier League Matches from an exclusive box, a promotion that is sure to get plenty of attention.
Crypto is a Game-Changer
As far as Tekno is concerned, this is a chance for him to market something that he believes in. The multi-award nominated singer declared that crypto is a true West African game-changer. He continued that he couldn’t be happier working with a crypto-led casino, adding that is thrilled to be part of the team.
Looking closer at Bitcasino, the company was founded in 2014 by the Yolo Group. Since its original inception, the operation has struggled to strike gold. However, it’s now focusing on West Africa due to the rising local popularity of cryptocurrency. Tauri Tiitsaar, director of casino at Yolo Group, shared some thoughts. He said that he is thrilled to have the singer on the team, adding that it is his goal to educate the singer’s fans about crypto.
It remains to be seen how cryptocurrency fairs with betting sites in West Africa.
