Africa’s fast-growing igaming sector has gained a new player with the launch of Nirmata Play, a boutique game aggregation platform developed by UK-based NYCE International Plc. The platform has gone live with Chopbet, marking its entry into Gambia, Sierra Leone, and Ivory Coast betting sites simultaneously.

Expanding Africa’s gaming frontier

The rollout signals NYCE International’s deepening footprint across the continent. Through Nirmata Play, Chopbet will access a curated library of boutique gaming content and advanced tools designed to enhance player engagement, retention, and market differentiation.

The platform connects operators and studios through a single API, simplifying integration and enabling faster market entry for licensed brands. Its three key components — Stargate, Initiator, and Architect — offer aggregation, certified RGS distribution, and custom game creation respectively.

“Going live with Chopbet marks an important and inaugural step for Nirmata Play,” said Farzad Peyman, CEO of NYCE International. “Our goal is to provide operators with high-quality content that stands out from the competition and empower them to build their own unique games through our Nirmata Play Architect tool.”

Technology meets local growth

The Nirmata Stargate system enables Chopbet to integrate content from multiple boutique studios under one commercial agreement, while the Architect tool lets operators design brand-aligned games tailored to African player preferences.

Analysts say such solutions could help smaller operators scale quickly across regulated and emerging markets, especially in West Africa, where demand for mobile-first casino and sports content continues to surge.

Strategic influence in Africa

Listed on the UK’s Aquis Stock Exchange (AQSE) Growth Market, NYCE International operates as a global marketplace for gaming technology and services, focusing on innovation, content delivery, and regulatory alignment.

Its collaboration with Chopbet reinforces NYCE’s strategy of partnering with local brands to support the continent’s digital gaming evolution. Industry observers see the launch as a milestone that will “bring new energy to Africa’s boutique igaming space.”

“The partnership with Chopbet reinforces NYCE’s growing influence in shaping Africa’s digital gaming landscape,” the company said in a statement.

What’s next

Following the Gambia, Ivory Coast, and Sierra Leone betting sites launch, Nirmata Play is expected to expand further across West and Central Africa, providing infrastructure and licensing support to locally licensed operators.

The initiative aligns with regional efforts to professionalise Africa’s online gaming market while maintaining responsible gaming and compliance standards.
