Nigerian betting operator GinjaBet has strengthened its online casino offering through a new partnership with QTech Games, integrating more than 200 certified casino titles onto its platform in a move aimed at boosting user engagement and market share in one of Africa’s most competitive gaming markets.
Major content boost for a fast-growing operator
The new deal brings a variety of slots, table games and bingo-style titles from leading developers. Newly added games include Logo Luck, The Count, Bash Bros, Bingo Mania and Pandemic Rising — a library designed to appeal to both casual players and experienced casino users.
The integration is powered by QTech’s proprietary mobile-first technology stack, giving GinjaBet improved device compatibility, faster loading speeds and region-specific support tailored to African markets.
QTech: “Nigeria remains one of Africa’s largest gaming opportunities”
QTech’s Head of Region for Africa, Ekaterina Mayorova, said the partnership reflects the growing demand for diverse digital entertainment across Nigeria.
“We’re thrilled to already be live in Nigeria with GinjaBet, a dynamic brand picking up irresistible momentum in a competitive marketplace,” Mayorova said.
“With its mobile-first penetration, mature smartphone adoption rates and growing digital economy, Nigeria remains one of Africa’s largest opportunities, and GinjaBet’s recent growth only underscores that.”
Nigeria is home to an estimated 60 million active bettors, with dominant players such as Bet9ja and SportyBet holding substantial market share. GinjaBet, launched in May 2025, is positioning itself as a mid-tier challenger, aided by new casino features and cross-product integrations.
GinjaBet targets engagement ahead of 2026 World Cup
GinjaBet CEO Joe Richa said the partnership aligns with the company’s long-term strategy of merging global gaming standards with a strong Nigerian identity.
“GinjaBet is committed to a conscious strategy of harnessing world-class technology and local Nigerian culture,” Richa said.
“This partnership with QTech is an organic extension of that approach across our new casino suite, which showcases globally recognised games supported by culturally relevant promotions and messaging pitched to younger Nigerian players.”
He added that the company’s momentum since launch has been “very encouraging,” and said QTech’s technical infrastructure would support GinjaBet’s sportsbook and casino expansion ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
A competitive market evolves
Industry analysts say Nigeria’s online gaming landscape is rapidly evolving as mid-tier operators look for ways to differentiate through content variety, mobile performance and localised marketing. Partnerships like this one mirror strategies used by top-performing betting sites in Nigeria, which rely on aggregator technology to scale quickly without building large game studios from scratch.
