Visa Inc. is a multinational payment services company with headquarters in Foster City, California, USA. Established in 1958, Visa allows users to make an electronic transfer using a branded credit, debit, gift, or prepaid card.

Each card works on a similar premise, although their credit cards offer a credit facility, whereas their debit, prepaid and gift cards need to have available funds to allow for transactions. Visa was one of the first brands to go online, and are accepted just about everywhere, globally.

How to Use Visa

Visa credit and debit cards all have a 16-digit long card number, expiry date, CVV, and a cardholder name. When you wish to make a deposit online or pay for goods or services, you’ll need to enter these details, along with the amount you wish to transfer.

An OTP will usually be sent to your email or mobile phone to confirm the transaction, and you’ll need to enter this code to complete the payment process. Transfers are generally instant as no processing time is required
