Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), a name synonymous with excellence in the gaming compliance sector, has recently been recognised as an approved auditing body for the International Betting Integrity Association’s (IBIA) Data Standards. This significant development marks a new chapter in GLI’s journey, reinforcing its status as a trusted leader in the industry.
Sports data providers aiming to undergo audits for the IBIA Data Standards and obtain its kitemark can now leverage GLI’s extensive expertise and worldwide network of testing locations. This collaboration is set to simplify the product auditing process, ensuring a smooth alignment with IBIA’s stringent standards.

GLI’s involvement in this initiative is a testament to their unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards in gaming compliance.
The IBIA’s Data Standards, launched in 2020, were established as a proactive measure against the manipulation of data and the subsequent corruption of betting markets, issues of paramount concern in the sports betting industry.
Protecting Sports Integrity and Consumer Interests
The IBIA, representing a host of leading regulated sports betting operators globally, introduced these standards to safeguard the integrity of sports, their data, and the betting markets derived from it.
The aim is also to protect consumers engaging with these products. Notably, prominent global data providers such as Stats Perform, Sportradar, and GRID have already received accreditation.
Khalid Ali, CEO of IBIA, expressed his confidence in GLI, acknowledging their global reputation and the significance of their accreditation as an auditing body for the Data Standards. Ali looks forward to a fruitful collaboration with GLI, which is one of only two accredited companies to offer such auditing services.
