On 2 February 2024, Mopati Rammekwa took the helm as Chief Operating Officer. With a vast 20-year background in public service and regulation, Mopati’s expertise spans from tourism to gambling regulation. She’ll be the brains behind licensing, investigations, and ensuring the industry’s growth in Botswana.
Her journey from the Department of Tourism to the Gambling Authority showcases her skill in nurturing compliance and spotting investment gems in the gambling sector. Mopati’s academic journey includes a Bachelor’s in Commerce from the University of Botswana and specialized courses from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Strategy and Projects Wizard: Kutlo Mokgosana
Kutlo Mokgosana will craft the Authority’s strategic pathways as the Manager-Strategy and Projects. Kutlo’s twenty-year leadership saga has seen him transform businesses from telecommunications to postal services.
