Award-winning hip-hop artist, philanthropist, and businessman, King Kaka, is back in the spotlight. This comes after striking a massive deal with Sportsbet.io, becoming their global ambassador in East Africa.

Kenyan-born Kennedy Ombima, aka King Kaka, is respected and admired as one of the biggest stars in African hip hop. He is also well-known for his charity work and readiness to tackle social challenges.

He went further to praise the artist for his “game-changing” contribution to music. As well as his notable humanitarian work. He also stated how happy he was to have the hip-hop star on board and representing Sportsbet.

King Kaka in return had many good things to say about his new sponsors during his speech at the same event. He spoke of Sportsbet as “true innovators” who were willing to follow their own path. King Kaka’s venture into crypto-currency is the latest in a growing trend among African artists and celebrities. The most famous being the Senegalese R&B and hip-hop sensation, Akon. In 2017, Akon became the chairman and founder of his own cryptocurrency, named Akoin. Recently, Akon attended the SiGMA trade show in Malta. At the event, he spoke about his plans to establish a crypto-based ecosystem for African entrepreneurs. Hoping to aid rising economies across the African continent.
